- What training responsibilities, if any, do uplines have with their downline organizations?
According to the LifeVantage Policies and Procedures, successful Independent Consultants perform a bona fide assistance and training function to ensure that their downline is properly operating their LifeVantage Independent Consultantship. Section 5.1 states, “Successful Independent Consultants have ongoing contact and communication with the Independent Consultants in their Downline Organizations. Examples of such contact and communication may include, but are not limited to: newsletters, written correspondence, personal meetings, telephone contact, voice mail, electronic mail and the accompaniment of downline Independent Consultants to LifeVantage meetings, training sessions and other functions. Successful upline Independent Consultants also motivate and train new Independent Consultants in LifeVantage product knowledge, effective sales techniques, the LifeVantage Compensation Plan and compliance with the Company Policies and Procedures.”
Upline Consultants are also responsible to ensure that Downline Consultants do not make improper product or business claims, or engage in any illegal or inappropriate conduct.
