Section 11.4 – Sales Receipt of the LifeVantage Policies and Procedures explains why. A primary reason – a 3 day “cooling off” period provided by applicable law. Whenever a sale is made to a “Retail Customer”, two copies of the Retail Sales receipt must be left with the customer. This gives the consumer a copy to send into the company and a copy to keep for themselves if they decide to cancel the sale. Section 11.4 goes on to explain that copies of such receipts must be kept by the Distributor for a period of four years and made available to LifeVantage upon request during that period of time.
