Certainly, Section 3 – Independent Contractor Status, of the Terms and Conditions states: “Independent Distributor shall be an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, partner, or franchisee of LifeVantage. LifeVantage is not responsible for withholding, and will not withhold or deduct from Independent Distributor’s bonuses and commissions, if any, taxes of any kind other than as required by law. An IRS Form W-9 is required from all Independent Distributors.”
Remember, too, that as an independent contractor, there are deductions available to you that would not be available to an employee. Be sure to ask your accountant about those benefits. If you haven’t been an independent contractor before, this will open your eyes to additional tax savings!
That’s why we’ve combined cutting-edge research in the field of nutrigenomics with a powerful entrepreneurial vehicle.
