After February's Elite Academy, we knew we had to find a bigger meeting space to accommodate the large group of attendees expected to participate in June's Elite Academy event.
We did that, and much to our surprise, approximately 800 people packed into the ballroom at the Marriott Salt Lake City Downtown. In keeping with the theme of our event, "Breakthrough," we literally were "breaking through" the doors of the meeting space and spilling out into the hallway!
In celebration of LifeVantage's first year in the network marketing industry, the event kicked off with a video recapping that year in business, highlighting major achievements and successes, and set an emotional tone that carried us through two days of training and inspiration. Friday's presentations focused on "Breakthrough:" how we can "break through" in our personal endeavors, to the breakthroughs LifeVantage has experienced the past year, to the facts backed by science and proven by research that qualify Protandim as a true breakthrough product. Dr. Joe McCord, of our Scientific Advisory Board, amazed us again with his presentation on Protandim and solidified how crucial Protandim is in the quest for healthy living.
True to form, the distributors who presented at Saturday's training took us on an emotional journey, from tears to laughter, as they recounted inspiring success stories and taught proven methods of creating and maintaining a strong LifeVantage business. Distributors from every level of the business attended the event and each, regardless of their level, learned valuable techniques and unforgettable lessons that enriched their business acumen. Many exclaimed, "This is the best Elite Academy yet!"
In keeping with our Elite Academy tradition, "Breakthrough" t-shirts were available for purchase and each participant received a special commemorative Elite Academy "Breakthrough" collector's coin. We also continued our LifeVantage legacy of giving back and making the world a better place by participating in a service opportunity for Gold Ribbon Families Foundation, a non-profit organization established to assist and support families of children with cancer.
Our journey to take Protandim to every home in the world continues and there will be many Elite Academies to come. Because our expectations are continually exceeded, again we are setting our sight high for all future events. With our current track record, and with the help of our LifeVantage family of distributors, October's Elite Academy is sure to be a hit as well.
